Meet the Team – Amanda Chalmers
This is the 2nd in our series of light hearted Q&As with the team at Stretton Capital so you can get to know them a little better.
Next up is Executive Assistant Amanda “A-Rod” Chalmers (no relation to Judith). Amanda supports our Group CEO with his various businesses and is the high performance oil that keeps all of the Stretton cogs turning smoothly and efficiently.

Summarise your career to date and how you came to work at Stretton Capital
On leaving school I trained as a travel agent, the travel industry changed massively in the early 90’s so I changed jobs and worked as an office junior in a law firm, I progressed to being a secretary then developed my skills and became more focused on becoming a Personal Assistant. I have worked in a variety of business’ over the years including a motoring services company, a major sports brand, a private investment company, interior design and private households. My role at Stretton Capital is so varied, it enables me to draw on my experience gained in other roles
If you could change anything about your life up until this point, would you and if so what would it be?
I wouldn’t change a thing. Everything happens for a reason
